Enemy AI factions already get cheats when it comes to money, they don't need to be given full armies of elite units to ruin you. Both are amazing and offer multiple factions with really different units, but one doesn't seem to enjoy punching you in the gut and then say they're just having fun. If I had to pick, I think I would go for The Elder Scrolls: Total War just beating out Divide and Conquer. I tried to include the biggest I know of and if I missed a popular one, I apologize. I know we have some fans of the series here and I'm really curious to see which mod everyone likes best. This led me down a bit of a rabbit hole and reminded me of all the awesome mods out there for this game, like Elder Scrolls and Thera, to the point I started downloading those again. ![]() Though Battle For Middle Earth is fine and all, I really wanted massive scales and nothing beats that better than Third Age - Total War and the still updated Divide and Conquer submod for Medieval II: Total War. After watching the Lord of the Rings Trilogy again, I got the need to play a Lord of the Rings strategy game.
